OUR STORY!

We are JJ & Shannon Harrelson. We live about five miles outside Hamilton in West Central Georgia. We have a shared passion for western and extreme lifestyles. By today’s standards we grew up very simple and country. Here’s a little bit about what makes us the people we are.

JJ was raised up with an influence of his father who introduced him to athletics and competition. His PaPa George and uncles made sure that he had a good mix of farm living, respect for the land and the good book. He took all of these and combined them with his love for the cowboy way and after high school went off to ABAC (Abraham Baldwin Agriculture College) in Tifton Georgia and that’s were he found his true love …. Bull Riding! He rode for almost a decade and turned in his bull rope for a Lariat rope. Team Roping was disciplined, but not his true love. He has stayed involved in rodeo and bulls and has shifted his focus on raising bucking bulls.

Growing up I learned to love speed. We had a place at the river where I learned at an early age that girls can do almost anything boys could. As a young man, my dad drag raced. He took time off to start his own heating & air business and after 15 years, he retired and started back racing and built drag and show cars. He taught me how to be tough and independent. While my mom’s examples lead me to strive to be a good housewife and to "take care of your man".

We absolutely love to travel! It doesn’t matter if it’s the desert, the mountains or a tropical island. ANY TIME we get a chance we get on the road, or in the air. Usually it takes us days to get to where we’re headin’ cause we make several trips out of one. We are the proud parents of three beautiful DOGS! (Lady, my German Shorthair Pointer, Cage, my Yellow Lab and Dooley, our Miniature Dauchaund.) Hopefully kids will come later. ~Lady passed away at age 11 in November 2007. Since then we have a new addition, Possum. She is our Blue Healer Pup & is a MESS!
We bought our first buckin’ bull last year and are on our way to
fulfilling our dreams.

I wanted to start this business as a place to express our love for the west. We feel like we will do great with the help of wonderful customers, family and friends.
